My daughter wore the pouch around her hips for a whole afternoon pretending to be a stylist, and the comb and scissors feel sturdy enough to survive her enthusiasm. The mirror is a nice touch, but honestly the waist strap is what made it a hit.

The little mirror is what sold me — my kid can actually check their own handiwork after "cutting" my hair. The pouch sits nicely on their hips and everything stays tucked inside when they dash around. Genuinely durable wood, too; it's survived a few throws already.

My toddler loves wearing the pouch around the house while pretending to cut my hair—the comb is perfectly sized for small hands. The pretend blow-dryer even has a little sound that clicks, which keeps her engaged for way longer than I expected.
