My four year old insists on packing his own snacks now that he has a backpack his size. The straps sit well on his little shoulders and the dino face makes him easy to spot at pickup.

The little triceratops face is what sold my daughter on it immediately, and honestly it's held up great through a few months of playground abuse. The regular size fits her lunchbox and a change of clothes with room to spare.

The triceratops face is what sold my daughter, but the size is what sold me — it fits her lunchbox and a water bottle without looking bulky. The straps adjust small enough for a skinny 5-year-old too.
